Role Description The Senior Engineer role is a full-time, remote position responsible for designing, building, and maintaining core components of the Grydd Supply Chain & Logistics Operating System. Day-to-day activities include developing scalable backend and/or frontend services, integrating data pipelines and analytics features, and optimizing system performance and reliability.

The Senior

Engineer will collaborate with product, data science, and operations teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, implement best practices for code quality and security, and contribute to architectural decisions. This role also involves mentoring other engineers, participating in code reviews,



and helping improve engineering processes and tooling.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in modern software engineering languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React, or similar).
- Experience designing and implementing distributed systems, microservices, and RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization/orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with data engineering and analytics workflows, including databases (SQL/NoSQL), data integration, and performance optimization.
- Understanding of Machine Learning or AI-driven applications, and ability to collaborate with data science teams on model integration.
- Knowledge of supply chain, logistics, or enterprise SaaS platforms is highly beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
- Experience leading technical projects, mentoring peers, and contributing to system architecture and technical roadmaps.
- Solid grasp of secure coding practices, testing strategies (unit, integration, end-to-end), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
