This position supports environmental, health and safety efforts at the site. Individual is accountable for: supporting EHS activities at his/her assignment area, including maintaining EHS systems and processes such as monitoring and measurement systems, reporting and communication of EHS metrics, collection, and organization of EHS action items, supporting EHS training initiatives, leading, and supporting EHS teams, leads, upports incident investigations, supporting security processes for certification and supports site internal assessment activities.

1. Assist with the implementation of System of Environmental, Safety, Security and Health and will utilize tools to drive improvements.
2. Supports risk assessment at the location to identify critical EHS hazards and aspects.
3. Supports tracking of appropriate leading and lagging indicators to track EHS performance.
4. Supports tracking and accomplishment of EHS goals for the site.
5. Supports and promotes zero incident EHS culture throughout site.




6. Supports EHS engagement through EHS teams and committees needed to accomplish the established targets and objectives for the year.
7. Works with EHS Manager to complete an annual evaluation of compliance for EHS country, state, and local.

Education:

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in EHS.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience leading others.
- Proficient in reading and writing English

Preferred Knowledge & Training:

- Lean manufacturing / Operational Excellence skills in 5S+, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, Visual Management, process focused, EHS certifications
- Problem solving skills (e.g. 8-D, PDCA’s, A3)
- Intrinsically motivated, champion of change, visionary
- Life-long learner; promotes a learning culture
