Job Summary

Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, Axiom, with the spin planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support Axiom, a company focused on critical digital infrastructure and delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications. To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Product Engineer Shift 2 located in Guadalajara, North Campus.
Reporting to the Project Manager the Product Engineer Shift 2 is responsible for receiving, analyze, clean, and customize all technical information/documentation from the customer related to his product, derived from a New Product Introduction (NPI) or a design change in order to establish all necessary processes to manufacture it by maintaining its design and performance integrity.
What a typical day looks like:
Support production by assessing product engineering issues of diverse scope that arise on production line.
Interact with customer and various departments on product related issues – engineering changes, new model development.
Customer´s Bill of Material (BOM) analysis and structure definition for production.
Participate to cost reduction activities in areas like material, inventory, and scrap reduction.
Conduct Design for Manufacturing (DFM), tolerance analysis, Design of Experiment (DOE), form-fit-function to determine failure root/cause analysis and reporting to customer.




Analyze and determine course of action of Product Change Notification (PCN) and Manufacturing Change Order (MCO).
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
Experience in similar position in electronic manufacturing environment.
Knowledge with implementation engineering changes.
Leadership in NPI implementation.
Experience with agile.
Lead the implementation of ECOS.
Fluent English.
Knowledge in MRP (Baan, Flex flow) is also a plus.
Availability to work 2nd and 3rd shift.
