At MacLean Engineering, we are building the future of underground mining equipment, integrating advanced digital control systems across our general fleet of Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) and diesel machinery.

Key Technical Focus

- PLC & Control Programming: CODESYS, Danfoss (LD, ST, SFC, IL).
- Networks & Protocols: CAN bus (CANopen, J1939), Automotive Ethernet.
- Functional Safety: ISO-13849, ISO-21815, ISO 26262, or DO-178C/DO-254 standards.
- Testing & Validation: HIL/SIL environments (dSPACE, Vector, IPG) & V-Model methodology.
- Architecture & Hardware: ECUs,



I/O modules, displays (IFM, Danfoss, ABB), and SysML (MBSE).

What We Are Looking For

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Experience: 5+ years in control systems design, mobile/industrial equipment, or mechatronics development.
- Languages: Advanced English proficiency (written & spoken).

First-Year Impact

- Master MacLean’s core product architectures.
- Advance the development of the MacLean Operating System (MOS).
- Transition autonomous functions from concept to functional PLC software and schematics.
