Responsibility description

Cost reduction leadership of overall plan scrap and rework

Collaborate during the NPI process to design, standardizeand document a feasible (economically and technically)manufacturing process that meet product requirements; andduring production series assure that such approved processis maintained and carried out under controlled conditions

Develop effective process methods and standards to meetcustomer and company requirements

Assure proper maintenance of all tooling, fixtures, dies andother devices required for product manufacturing

Directs the investigation and initiation of unique and highlytechnical manufacturing problems, and provide all necessarytechnical assistance for their resolution

Focuses group to meet and improve yield objectives

Implement projects for waste reduction (hazardous and nothazardous)



and optimization of different utilities (NG,

electricity, water, gases, etc.

Ensure that due attention is given to product quality issues ina timely manner, supporting with technical knowledge for theidentification of the root cause and the implementation ofcorrective actions

Work closely with the management group to improve overallproductivity, cost reduction, and profitability within theoperation

Recommend alterations to development and design toimprove quality of products and/or procedures

Direct on -the-job training activities to ensure that operatorsacquire and develop the required competencies to performand control the production process as it is designed
