The Admissions Specialist is the first point of contact for any potential client seeking services offered by Cornerstone Healing Center. The Admissions Specialist would be responsible for providing support to the Admissions team in answering questions and guiding administrative and sales decisions to achieve the goals of the team.

Requirements

- Valid Mexico Passport. (For Insurance Verification of incoming clients)
- Excellent communicator—clear, warm, and professional with clients in crisis and referral partners alike.
- Strong customer service & sales aptitude—able to build rapport, explain services, discuss insurance/financial options, and support conversion goals.
- Highly organized & detail-oriented—manages inquiries, documentation, scheduling, and follow-ups with accuracy and urgency.
- Tech-savvy—comfortable using CRM systems, Office tools, phones, DocuSign, and
- Team-focused—collaborates effectively with Admissions, Business Development, and leadership.

Experience & Knowledge

- Experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, crisis calls, or client service roles.
- Familiar with treatment programs, levels of care, and/or willingness to learn quickly.
- Preferably 1+ year in admissions or sales.

JOB FUNCTIONS

- The Admissions Specialist is the first point of contact with many potential clients and the main spokesperson for potential clients and their referral source. This requires both skilled communication and expediency of contact with inquiries.
- Will oversee the accuracy of the Verifications of Benefits for potential clients.
- Responsible for assuring that all inquiries are logged in the agency CRM system noting person, date, referral source, and nature of the inquiry (Court Services [DUI/DV] or Treatment).
- Accept guidance, tasks, and instructions from the Admissions Manager. Accept directions and assignments from the Director of Sales
- Responsible for maintaining open lines of communication with all organizations and providing prompt answers to requests to determine how to convey concise, clear, and timely selective information.
- Will be responsible for conducting pre-assessments with qualified potential treatment clients, having discussions around insurance/financial means for paying for our services, utilizing DocuSign for financial agreements,



and scheduling and facilitating admissions to treatment in person.
- Will have working knowledge of the treatment scope of services, clinical levels of care, DV, DUI program, how to sell our online screenings and courses, and how to schedule them in the system.
- Participate in ongoing training with supervisor and admissions staff to ensure the quality of services being provided is accurate.
- Stay up to date with current treatment offerings and processes of Cornerstone Healing Center to effectively provide support to admissions staff.
