What are we hiring for?We're seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our engineering team and help build a robust, scalable infrastructure that powers our general marketplace platforms. You'll be designing and developing high-performance backend services and APIs that handle millions of auction events, bids, and transactions across our international marketplaces. In this role, you'll work with modern technologies including Go, Python, Fast API, Redis, and Postgre SQL/My SQL to build microservices that scale globally. You'll collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Dev Ops, and ML Engineering teams to deliver features that directly impact our users' experience and our business growth. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact on a platform serving millions of users worldwide while working with cutting-edge technologies in a rapidly evolving industry Key Responsibilities What you'll be doing: Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Go and Python/Fast APIBuild and optimize high-performance microservices that handle real-time bidding, transactions, and user interactions Implement robust data models and schemas in Postgre SQL/My SQL/RDS,



ensuring data integrity and optimal performance Develop caching strategies using Redis to improve application performance and reduce database load Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code with comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests Containerize applications using Docker and deploy to Kubernetes (EKS) environments Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions for automated testing and deployment Implement observability and monitoring solutions using Grafana, Loki, and Prometheus Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, architect solutions, and deliver features Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and maintain high code quality standards Debug production issues, optimize system performance, and ensure high availability Contribute to technical documentation and architectural decision-making Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge with the broader engineering team Key Requirements Who are we looking for?Required Experience & Skills:5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on backend development Strong proficiency in Go and/or Python, with production experience building scalable services Expert knowledge of Fast API or similar web frameworks (Echo, Gin, Flask, Django)Extensive experience with relational databases (Postgre SQL, My SQL, RDS) including schema design, optimization, and query tuning Solid understanding of Redis and caching strategies for high-performance applications Hands-on experience with Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration (preferably EKS)Proficiency with Git and Git Hub Actions for version control and CI/CD automation Experience implementing observability with tools like Grafana, Loki,
