and communication skillsResponsibilities:Coach and support manufacturing work groups (MWG)Coach Safety, Quality and Productivity to ensure objectives are met through following standardized workOptimize throughput in accordance with budgets and cost objectivesMonitor ANDON occurrences.
Be the first responder as secondary supportThrough Process Confirmation, verify that the line is running safely, smoothly, and producing quality partsSupport Kaizen (Continuous Improvement) and coach problem resolution to the lowest levelCommunication and Recognition:Meet JPH, FTT, inventory, cost, scrap, supply, and tooling expense targetsBuild Team Leader and Team Member capabilityCreate a conducive work environment for the team(s) to complete their assigned responsibilities / tasksBasic administration of supervisory responsibilities and documentsEnsure adherence and compliance to the FPS Key Unifying Processes (KUP)Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's DegreeExperience:Body shop/stamping/paint/subassembly experience preferredSafety and Quality experience preferredKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing principlesKnowledge of constraint management principlesMicrosoft Office knowledge (Word/Excel/Outlook)Prior experience managing a unionized work force#FordMexico
