Schneider Electric is looking for a Customs & Logistics Analyst (One year contract)This position is in charge of the import-export and border transport operations, customs documentation, achieving the legal dispositions and applicable procedures by Customs and plant, collaborate with competency centers in tabs efficiency, shipments traceability, ensure daily transport needs are fulfilled, coordinate with cross border carriers & Customs department, on time delivery according to plant requirements as well as new projects, production lines transfers, determination of the status of the Imports & Exports.This position will be focusing on making sure that our internal or external customers receives their products on time and without any disruption and in case of any unforeseen event you should be able to take responsible decisions and avoid bigger financial impacts.Responsibilities:General knowledge of the Imp / Exp areasCustoms documentationAchieve the legal dispositions and applicable procedures by Customs and PlantCollaborate with Competency Centers efficientlyBusiness Partnering with Custom Brokers, Carriers,



Control tower, Import Export, Supply chainInventory control and database integrityRecord Keeping management (CartaPorte)HTS classificationDevelop projects to improve administrative processesPreparation of monthly metricsAssure and control the service level of the Local Carriers and operationsPreparation, evaluation and management of the internal politics and proceduresProcess Mapping-Annex 24 software & Annex 22 general knowledgeQualificationsBachelor ́s degree in Foreign Trade, International Trade, Finance, Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics.2 years' within the maquiladora environmentExperience in managing high volumes of information, ability to analyze and detect risks.
Wide knowledge of foreign trade and customs laws.Experience in procedures and Customs documentation necessary for the clearance of the goods.ERP knowledge is a plus (SAP JD Edwards, etc)Advanced English (mandatory).
