Plastic Injection Molding Supervisor Industry: Automotive Manufacturing Position Overview The Plastic Injection Molding Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily production operations in the injection molding area within an automotive manufacturing environment.
The position requires strong technical knowledge of plastic injection molding processes, machine parameter optimization, mold setup and changeovers, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities Production and Operations Quality Assurance Mold and Process Management Team Leadership Safety and Continuous Improvement Requirements: Qualifications and Experience Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field; technical degree may be considered based on experience.
3–5 years of experience in plastic injection molding within the automotive or high-volume manufacturing industry.
Previous experience supervising production teams in a manufacturing environment.
Strong technical knowledge of injection molding machines, molds, process parameters, and troubleshooting.
