In this position...

As part of the Chassis Product Development organization, you will engineer robust, innovative, and high-quality steering systems that define vehicle dynamics, precision handling, and driver safety across our global portfolio.In this role, you will serve as the technical authority for steering components and sub-systems throughout their entire lifecycle. You will lead design, validation,



and release activities while collaborating with integral engineering centers, manufacturing assembly plants, and Tier-1 suppliers to deliver best-in-class chassis solutions for current and next-generation vehicle programs.
What you'll do...
- Lead the end-to-end design, packaging, and engineering release of steering system components from initial concept through vehicle launch and production.
- Define and execute Design Verification Plans (DVP&R;), durability testing, and functional assessments on bench, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL), and prototype vehicle levels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams—including software, vehicle dynamics, CAD, and manufacturing to integrate steering controls, calibration, and hardware seamlessly.
- Partner with procurement and Tier-1 suppliers throughout technical sourcing, statement of work reviews, prototype delivery, and tooling sign-off.
