As a Senior Resource Planning Specialist at ICON, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing resource allocation across clinical trials and research projects.
What You Will Do:
Your experience in site resourcing and workforce planning will be key in delivering high-quality outcomes and mentoring colleagues.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing resource planning activities, including the allocation of personnel, equipment, and other resources across multiple clinical projects.
Collaborating with project managers and department leaders to assess resource needs, forecast demand, and ensure efficient utilization.
Developing and maintaining resource planning tools and systems to track availability, usage,



and future needs.
Identifying resource bottlenecks, gaps, or inefficiencies and proposing solutions to optimize resource allocation.
Providing reports and strategic insights to leadership on resource trends, usage, and projections to support informed decision-making.
Your Profile:
You will have a strong foundation in site resourcing and workforce planning, with the experience to work independently and guide others.
Required qualifications and experience:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field.
Significant experience in resource planning, project management, or operations, preferably within the clinical research or healthcare sector.
Proficiency in resource management software and tools, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing resource needs in a fast-paced environment.
