OSA Global Staffing, We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and patient-focused Healthcare Appointment Setter to support our telehealth operations by scheduling patient consultations, coordinating appointments with medical providers, and ensuring patients are properly prepared for their virtual visits.

The adecuado candidate will have excellent communication skills, experience in healthcare scheduling or patient coordination, and familiarity with medical terminology and U.S. healthcare practices.

This position plays an important role in providing a positive patient experience, maintaining accurate appointment records, and ensuring an efficient scheduling process between patients and healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for patients, assisting them with scheduling telehealth appointments and answering general questions about the consultation process
• Contact patients through phone calls, emails, or messaging platforms to schedule, confirm, and reschedule medical appointments




• Coordinate physician availability and patient schedules to ensure appointments are booked accurately and efficiently
• Collect and verify patient information, including full name, contact details, date of birth, and other information required for appointment registration
• Conduct basic patient intake by gathering relevant medical information, such as the reason for the visit, reported symptoms, existing medical conditions, and current medications, following established protocols
• Demonstrate familiarity with common medical terminology and healthcare procedures to communicate effectively with patients and medical professionals
• Explain the telehealth appointment process and provide patients with instructions on how to access their virtual consultations
• Send appointment confirmations, reminders, and follow-up communications to reduce missed appointments and improve patient attendance
