We’re hiring: Account Executive
Kontempo is building the financial operating system for B2B commerce in Mexico. We help suppliers automate trade credit, payments, and financial workflows so they can grow sales while managing risk.
We’re a fast-growing fintech backed by leading investors and work with some of Mexico’s largest industrial companies.
We’re looking for an Account Executive to drive new business growth by prospecting, engaging, and closing B2B clients. This role will own the sales process from initial outreach through contract signing, working closely with the Account Management team to ensure a smooth client activation.
This is a highly commercial role for someone with strong drive, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build relationships and close deals in a fast-paced environment.

Must haves
• 3+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a similar commercial role

• Proven experience prospecting, managing, and closing new B2B clients

• Experience generating opportunities through networking, industry events, referrals, paid acquisition,



or other outbound/inbound strategies

• Strong relationship-building and communication skills

• Commercial mindset with a strong focus on results and closing

• Highly proactive, organized, and persistent with excellent follow-up skills

• Experience in the technology or financial services industry; fintech experience is a strong plus

• Comfortable conducting client meetings and product demos independently

• Strong ownership and ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy

• Willingness to travel 1–2 times per month

• Based in Mexico City or Monterrey

• English is a plus
