Responsibilities

In this position...
- Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance principles
- Interpret data from inspection equipment and recommend responses
- Ensure gauge calibrations; certification; and repeatability and reproducibility
- Verify tolerance/engineering specifications
- Work with Layout Inspectors and Data collectors for accurate Scan box, scanning programs and handheld device measurements to ensure data integrity
- Review dimensional inspection reports (Scan box, laser gauge, etc.) for accuracy and compliance.
- Review CAD models and prints to understand part geometry and nominal environment.




- Complete implementation and validation of corrective actions
- Define and conduct machine process capability analysisl
- Lead variability reduction and lean manufacturing initiatives and best practices,
- Control the critical inputs to the production process. Including dimensional and surface Quality from stamping.
- Support of daily production & maintenance, working closely with production team to drive all engineering actions across the machining/assembly line
- Knowledge of and ability to execute measurement systems analysis & variable data analysis
- Supervise the activities of the dimensional control group within closures Manufacturing
- Co-lead QCM within sub assembly lines
- Build Team Leader and Team Member capability
- Create a conducive work environment for the team(s) to complete their assigned responsibilities / tasks
- Maintain a versatility matrix that ensures technical coverage at all
