Site Engineer

Huawei Technologies de México is looking for a Site Engineer to support the implementation and delivery of telecommunications infrastructure projects, including wireless site adaptation, site energy, and Outside Plant (OSP) engineering, ensuring high-quality execution and compliance with project requirements.

Key Job Functions:

- Wireless Site Adaptation: Support wireless site adaptation projects by coordinating technical requirements, site readiness, equipment installation, and project progress.

- Site Energy Projects: Support site energy project implementation, including site coordination, installation tracking, testing, commissioning, and acceptance activities.

- Outside Plant (OSP) Engineering: Support OSP engineering projects by coordinating field activities, monitoring construction progress, and ensuring compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.

- Site Coordination & Project Monitoring: Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to monitor project schedules, resolve on-site issues, and support timely project delivery.

- Quality Control & Documentation: Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, technical requirements, quality standards, and safety procedures. Maintain accurate project documentation and progress reports.

Requirements:

- Experience: Experience in site engineering, telecommunications infrastructure, electrical engineering, construction, or related technical fields is preferred.

- Technical Knowledge:



Basic knowledge of telecommunications, wireless networks, telecom site infrastructure, electrical power systems, AC/DC power, batteries, site energy solutions, and OSP engineering.

- Engineering Knowledge: Understanding of engineering drawings, construction processes, equipment installation, testing, commissioning, quality control, and project delivery procedures.

- Core Competencies: Strong coordination, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and organizational skills, with the ability to monitor construction progress, manage on-site activities, and meet project deadlines.

- Documentation & Safety: Ability to prepare project progress reports, maintain technical documentation, and follow construction quality standards and safety requirements.

- Language: English and Spanish proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively with local teams, contractors, and international stakeholders.

Work Location: Santa Fe, CDMX (We have transportation services in some points)
