The Sr. Director, Integral Launch Leader is responsible for the global strategy, governance, and execution excellence of new product launches and business transfers across multiple sites and regions. This role provides enterprise-level leadership for product realization, ensuring launches are executed with rigor, repeatability, and alignment to customer commitments, operational readiness, and financial targets.

Key Responsibilities
Global Leadership & People Management

Provide functional leadership for the Global Launch organization, including direct and indirect management of Senior Launch Leaders, Process/Product Engineers, and Quality Engineers.

Build organizational capability through talent development, succession planning, and skills advancement across regions.

Establish clear goals, performance metrics, and accountability for global launch teams.

Foster a culture of ownership, operational discipline, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and development planning for leadership-level direct reports.

Serve as a mentor and escalation resource for complex technical, operational, and customer challenges.

Launch Strategy & Governance

Define and own the global launch strategy, standards, and governance model for New Product Introduction (NPI) and product transfers.

Ensure consistent application of Product Realization,



APQP, DFx, and risk management methodologies across all launches.

Establish scalable, repeatable, and auditable launch processes that support global growth.

Lead executive-level phase gate reviews and ensure launch readiness criteria are met prior to progression.

Drive alignment between launch execution, customer contracts, demand commitments, and site capabilities.

Provide executive reporting on launch health, risks, mitigation plans, and KPI performance.

Program & Execution Oversight

Provide oversight for complex, multi-site, or strategic customer launches, including programs requiring global coordination or accelerated timelines.

Serve as the senior escalation point for launch risks related to cost, quality, delivery, capacity, or technical readiness.

Ensure robust risk identification, mitigation, and decision-making throughout the launch lifecycle.

Partner with site leadership to address gaps in capability, capacity, or readiness for new products.

Support sites that lack immediate bandwidth or technical expertise during early launch phases.

Ensure lessons learned are captured and institutionalized across the organization.

Cross-Functional & Customer Engagement

Act as a senior interface with customers, commercial leadership, operations, engineering, quality, and supply chain for launch-related matters.

Influence customer alignment on launch expectations, schedules, and technical requirements.

Collaborate with supply chain and procurement to align sourcing strategies with launch and transfer requirements.





Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, including demand management, ramp commitments, and change control.

Represent Global Launch in executive forums, customer reviews, and strategic planning discussions.

Operational Excellence & Financial Accountability

Drive launch-related cost optimization, manufacturability improvements, and cycle-time reductions.

Evaluate production requirements and develop cost models for new product introductions and regional transfers.

Support decisions related to transfers from high-cost to low-cost manufacturing regions.

Ensure launch activities align with broader Global Operations and Business Unit strategies.

Lead or sponsor strategic initiatives related to product realization, operational excellence, or capability expansion.

Qualifications & Experience

10+ years of experience in program management, operations, engineering, or manufacturing leadership; EMS or precision technology experience strongly preferred.

10+ years in leadership roles with demonstrated experience managing managers and global teams.

Proven success leading complex, multi-site product launches and business transfers.

Deep understanding of manufacturing engineering, quality systems, supply chain, and operations.

Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders and customers.

Demonstrated ability to drive standardized processes while adapting to regional and customer-specific needs.

Solid financial acumen, including cost modeling, risk analysis, and business case evaluation.

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Ability to travel globally up to 50–75%.
