Culligan’s Product Centre of Excellence (COE) is responsible for developing and managing the entire product lifecycle of key general product platforms. The CoE is now actively seeking a dynamic Engineering Manager who will be responsible for recruiting and developing a team who will drive the successful development and execution of both product platform and technology projects.

Leadership & Performance Development
Drive culture of high performance within the Monterrey Engineering team – continuously challenge current standards to foster best in class product performance and product quality levels
Develop the skills and competences of the Engineering Team, promoting best practices and a unified sense of purpose across the department.
Foster collaboration between the local Engineering team, the wider CoE organization and the Monterrey Manufacturing Hub team to ensure successful execution of projects in accordance with business objectives

Design and Product Development
Work closely with CoE Director of Engineering & Category Lead Engineer(s)to provide mechanical design direction to the Design Team to ensure that their work complies with the scope of the Product Requirements Documentation (PRD).



Implement formal Design Reviews and ensure final design documentation (2D drawings, 3D models etc) meet Culligan standards
Work closely with Test Engineers to develop and execute DVPR plans to ensure that product performance is validated against PRD requirements
Ensure that design verification tools such as DFMEA, DFA/DFM are used as part of standard design process

Project Management
Organise allocation of work to Design and Support Teams to ensure that project timelines meet business requirements
Ensure projects adhere to timelines and budgets within an effective governance framework.

Job Requirements:
Primary degree in Engineering discipline (mechanical / mechatronics / product design preferred)
Ten (10) years’ experience in engineering design, ideally located within manufacturing facility with at least three (3) years in leadership role
Experience in design of plastic injection molded parts or tooling would be an advantage
Experience in sheet metal fabrication techniques would be an advantage
Excellent written and verbal English language capabilities
Practical experience in use of FMEA, DFM/DFA principles would be an advantage
