Role Description The Business Development Manager (Bids and Proposals) is a specialized business development role focused on winning new public sector business in the United States. The role manages the full RFP (Request for Proposal) lifecycle, from identifying opportunities through to contract award, and also develops new relationships with public sector agencies. This is a full-time, fully remote position operating in the US Central Time Zone.

Key Responsibilities:
• RFP Sourcing: Identify new public sector RFP opportunities for software and related services across relevant procurement sources.
• Proposal Development: Prepare detailed, engaging and precise responses to RFPs, including narratives, compliance matrices and questionnaires.
• Opportunity Closure:



Support each opportunity after submission through consistent document delivery and stakeholder engagement.
• Lead Generation: Identify and develop general public sector leads outside formal solicitations.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken. Candidates will be required to provide evidence of proficiency.
• Demonstrated ability to produce clear, persuasive and precise long-form written documents.
• Strong commercial instinct, including sound judgment in assessing opportunities and advancing them to close.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in proposal or grant writing, contracts, or business development within regulated industries.
• A demonstrated track record in sourcing and generating leads within the public sector.
