: Our client is seeking an experienced AI Test Engineer to join the team on a contract basis. This role will focus on developing and maintaining automated testing solutions, troubleshooting application issues, identifying root causes, and partnering closely with software engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.

The adecuado candidate combines strong software testing and automation experience with hands-on knowledge of AI-assisted development and testing tools. This person should be comfortable using AI to accelerate test development, debugging, documentation, and problem-solving while maintaining strong judgment in validating AI-generated code and test artifacts.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, mobile, and/or enterprise applications.
- Troubleshoot application and testing issues, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate with software developers to identify and implement solutions.
- Partner with developers, QA engineers, and other technical stakeholders throughout the software development and testing lifecycle.
- Develop comprehensive test scenarios and automated test cases based on functional and technical requirements.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, test automation, debugging, code quality, and problem-solving.
- Use tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or similar AI technologies to generate and enhance test scripts, test cases, documentation, and technical solutions.
- Generate, enhance, refactor, and maintain automated test scripts using AI-assisted technologies while ensuring the resulting code meets established quality and maintainability standards.
- Review, validate, and refine AI-generated code and test artifacts for accuracy, reliability, security, performance, and maintainability.
- Explore and apply agentic testing concepts, including AI-generated test scenarios, self-healing automation, intelligent test execution, and autonomous testing workflows.
- Integrate AI-assisted testing and development capabilities into existing QA and software development processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, automation efficiency, defect detection, and overall QA productivity through AI-enabled solutions.
- Maintain clear technical documentation related to test strategies, automation frameworks, test cases, defects, and testing processes.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of software quality and testing practices.

Required Qualifications:

- Hands-on experience as a Test Engineer, QA Engineer, Software Test Engineer, SDET, or Automation Engineer.
- Strong experience developing and maintaining automated test scripts for web, API, mobile, or enterprise applications.




- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills with the ability to work directly with developers to resolve technical issues.
- Experience with software testing methodologies, test case development, defect management, and quality assurance practices.
- Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development or testing tools, such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or similar technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to improve test case generation, test automation, debugging, documentation, and software development productivity.
- Ability to critically review and validate AI-generated code and testing artifacts to ensure accuracy, quality, reliability, and maintainability.
- Understanding of AI-assisted testing and emerging agentic testing concepts.
- Experience incorporating AI-assisted tools into software development and/or QA workflows.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly when partnering with software developers and technical teams.
- Ability to work primarily during Central Time (CT) business hours.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with AI-powered or intelligent test automation platforms.
- Experience with self-healing test automation or autonomous test execution.
- Experience creating AI-generated test scenarios or using AI to expand test coverage.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated testing into DevOps workflows.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience testing APIs, microservices, cloud applications, or enterprise platforms.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a hands-on automation-focused Test Engineer who understands both traditional QA practices and modern AI-assisted testing techniques. They should be comfortable using AI as a productivity multiplier while possessing the technical expertise to independently validate AI-generated outputs and ensure production-quality test automation. Salary/Rate: $20-$25/HR (depends on experience level). This is a contract position with candidates expected to work 40 hours/ week.
