Salary: $9.50-$10.50 per hour

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Drafting & Construction Documentation Specialist to develop residential construction drawings, architectural documentation, and 3D renderings for U.S.-based projects.

The adecuado candidate is an architectural professional with strong Revit skills, not simply a Revit drafter. They must be able to interpret reference drawings, understand design intent, apply sound architectural judgment, and independently develop accurate construction documents with minimal supervision.

The role requires strong knowledge of residential construction, architectural documentation, electrical coordination, and basic structural concepts. Strong English communication is required, with English/Spanish bilingual candidates preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Architectural Design & Construction Documentation

Develop residential architectural construction sets using Revit.

Prepare floor plans, sections, elevations, and detailed construction drawings.

Interpret reference plans and appropriately adapt them to new projects.

Apply architectural judgment rather than blindly copying previous plans.

Ensure drawings are accurate, coordinated, and aligned with U.S. construction standards.

Identify inconsistencies or potential issues and raise questions when clarification is needed.

Construction Coordination

Coordinate architectural layouts with structural and electrical requirements.





Demonstrate practical understanding of residential structural concepts.

Develop and review basic electrical layouts and ensure components are appropriate for the project.

Recognize issues that require architect or professional review.

3D Rendering

Produce accurate interior and exterior 3D renderings.

Develop models and visualizations based on architectural plans.

Complete rendering assignments efficiently according to project deadlines.

Project & Administrative Support

Work independently with minimal supervision and provide timely project updates.

Collaborate with the architect and team to incorporate revisions.

Maintain organized project files and documentation.

Assist with contracts and other administrative tasks when needed.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

3 years of architectural drafting or residential construction documentation experience.

Strong Revit proficiency required.

Strong understanding of architectural principles and residential construction.

Experience producing construction sets, sections, and elevations.

Strong ability to interpret and adapt reference drawings.

Understanding of residential electrical layouts and structural coordination.

Strong architectural judgment, problem-solving, and attention to detail.





Ability to work independently and take initiative.

Strong written and verbal English communication.

English/Spanish bilingual preferred.

Nice-to-Have (Bonus Skills)

Experience with U.S.-based architecture or construction firms.

AutoCAD, Archicad, or SketchUp experience.

Experience with architectural rendering.

MEP coordination experience.

Construction takeoff experience.

Experience preparing permit-ready documents.

Architectural degree or professional credentials.

Experience with contracts or administrative support.
