DN Automotive, a leading company in the automotive sector located in San Luis Potosí, is seeking a Quality Engineer (QA/QE) to guarantee excellence in our production processes and ensure total customer satisfaction.
Your mission will be monitoring quality in production lines, strategically managing customer complaints, and implementing corrective actions using automotive methodologies (Core Tools / 8D).
Mandatory Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. (Professional Degree / Título Competente is strictly required).
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Quality Engineer within the automotive industry.
- Language: Upper-Intermediate to Advanced English (B2 Level). Must be able to hold technical conversations and manage customer portals fluently.
- Standards: Deep knowledge of IATF 16949 and Customer-Specific Requirements (CSR).
- Quality Tools: Full proficiency in the application of Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA).
- Problem Solving: Strong background in root cause analysis methodologies and 8D report generation.
- Travel:
Must be willing to travel as needed to support customers.
- Desirable: Direct experience in Customer Quality and customer complaint management.
Main Responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure process quality directly on the production lines.
- Manage and accurately follow up on customer complaints, including customer portal management.
- Prepare and follow up on 8D reports, analyzing root causes and implementing corrective and containment actions.
- Manage scrap control and non-conforming material inventory.
- Control and update Quality Management System documentation (Control Plans, PFMEA, and Inspection Instructions).
- Monitor quality indicators (PPM and Customer Scorecards).
- Support customer audits and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
- Prepare and monitor internal quality issues, proposing continuous improvement initiatives.
