Overview
We’re recruiting on behalf of our client for a Microsoft Foundry AI Engineer to join an established Data Science & AI team, supporting the development, integration and productionisation of enterprise AI solutions.
The role will focus on onboarding externally developed AI solutions onto Microsoft Foundry , enhancing existing solutions, and developing new AI and agentic use cases from initial prototype through to production readiness.
? What you'll own
- Onboard and integrate externally developed AI solutions onto Microsoft Foundry .
- Implement change requests, enhancements and ongoing improvements for onboarded AI solutions.
- Design and develop new AI use cases and intelligent agents on the Foundry platform.
- Take solutions from prototype/PoC through to production readiness .
- Support integration between AI/agentic capabilities and enterprise process automation.
- Integrate AI solutions with UiPath Maestro .
- Troubleshoot integration and solution-development issues.
- Produce clear technical documentation for developed and onboarded solutions.
- Support technical handover and knowledge transfer to enable sustainable internal ownership.
? What you'll bring
- Hands-on experience developing and integrating solutions using Microsoft Foundry / Microsoft AI technologies .
- Practical experience building AI or agentic AI solutions .
- Experience integrating externally developed solutions into enterprise platforms.
- Understanding of APIs, system integrations and enterprise application architecture.
- Experience taking AI solutions beyond PoC/prototype into production-ready environments .
- Ability to troubleshoot, enhance and maintain existing AI solutions.
- Strong technical documentation and knowledge-transfer skills.
- Ability to work effectively with Data Science, AI, engineering and automation teams.
? Nice-to-have
- Experience with UiPath Maestro or the wider UiPath automation ecosystem.
- Experience integrating AI agents with process automation/workflow platforms .
- Broader Microsoft Azure AI ecosystem experience.
- Experience working with enterprise-scale AI solutions and governance requirements.
- Previous experience supporting AI solutions throughout their complete development lifecycle.
