The Engineer II is responsible for supporting the design, development, product transference, validation, and implementation of engineering solutions while contributing to product performance, quality, manufacturability, and cost objectives. This role independently manages small to medium-sized projects and provides technical support for product development and continuous improvement initiatives. The Engineer II collaborates with cross-functional teams, applies structured problem-solving methodologies, and utilizes engineering systems and tools to ensure successful project execution and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and execute small to medium-sized engineering projects and support larger cross-functional initiatives.
- Develop, validate, and implement engineering solutions for mechanical refrigeration products and related applications.
- Support engineering processes including Engineering Change Notices (ECN), Bills of Materials (BOM), Request for Quotation (RFQ), design reviews, and product validation activities.
- Analyze technical issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions using structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain,



and Operations teams to improve product quality, reliability, and manufacturability.
- Participate in technical discussions with customers and suppliers as required.
- Utilize Teamcenter, Solid Edge, or similar engineering software to support product design and documentation.
- Prepare and communicate technical analyses, recommendations, and project updates to stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, efficiency, and product performance.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of entry-level engineers and technicians when needed.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 2+ years of experience with mechanical refrigeration components, product implementation, product transferences, validation, and related applications.
- Experience working with Teamcenter, Solid Edge, Product Configurator, or comparable engineering software tools.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.
- Availability to travel up to 10% and work off-shift hours when required.
