We're a San Francisco-based technology company transforming property management accounting through AI and world-class accounting services. This role is 100% remote in Mexico.

Role & Responsibilities

As a General Accountant, you will manage the accounting processes for a portfolio of U.S.-based clients, ensuring accurate financial reporting and timely month-end close.

Role & Responsibilities :

- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Prepare financial statements and support month-end close.
- Review AP and AR transactions to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain general ledger accuracy and resolve accounting issues.
- Respond to client inquiries via email and internal ticketing systems.
- Follow company SOPs while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve accounting processes.

Requirements





- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of general accounting experience.
- Experience with bank reconciliations, financial statements, and month-end close.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP preferred).
- Intermediate-Advanced English (B1+ minimum).
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting U.S.-based clients.
- Experience with QuickBooks, Yardi, AppFolio, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERPs.
- Property management or real estate accounting experience is a plus.
- Experience working in a Shared Service Center (SSC) or startup environment.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
