Pricing Data Analyst

Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical Pricing Data Analyst to support pricing strategy, commercial decision-making, and revenue optimization through data-driven insights. The successful candidate will have advanced expertise in SQL, Python, VBA, and Excel , with a proven ability to analyze large datasets, automate reporting, develop pricing models, and influence business performance.

This role will work closely with Commercial, Finance, Sales, Product, and Leadership teams to identify opportunities for margin improvement, pricing optimization, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Pricing Strategy & Analysis

- Analyze pricing performance, profitability, customer behavior, and market trends.
- Develop and maintain pricing models to optimize revenue, margin, and customer retention.
- Evaluate pricing changes, promotions, discounts, and commercial initiatives.
- Conduct competitor and market pricing analysis.
- Provide recommendations on pricing strategy based on quantitative analysis.

Data Analysis & Reporting
- Extract, transform, and analyze large datasets using SQL .
- Build automated reporting solutions and dashboards to track pricing KPIs.
- Identify patterns, trends, and business opportunities through advanced analytics.
- Develop forecasting models to support pricing and revenue planning.

Automation & Process Improvement
- Design and maintain Excel VBA solutions to automate repetitive commercial and reporting processes.
- Use Python to build data pipelines, automate reporting, and perform advanced statistical analysis.
- Improve data quality, reporting efficiency, and business intelligence capabilities.
- Create scalable analytical tools that enable self-service reporting.

Stakeholder Management
- Partner with Sales, Commercial, Finance, and Operations teams to understand business requirements.
- Translate complex analytical findings into actionable business recommendations.
- Present insights and pricing performance reports to senior stakeholders.




- Support strategic initiatives and ad-hoc commercial analysis requests.

- Advanced SQL experience (complex joins, CTEs, window functions, stored procedures, query optimization).

Experience Required
- 3+ years' experience in Pricing Analytics, Commercial Analytics, Revenue Management, Business Intelligence, or Data Analytics.
- Experience working with large and complex datasets.
- Strong background in pricing strategy, profitability analysis, revenue optimization, or commercial performance analysis.
- Demonstrated success automating reporting and analytical processes using SQL, Python, VBA, and Excel.
