Product Merchandising Representative is the key liaison between the US store merchandising team and the Saltillo operations team. Member of the merchandising team, he/she works directly with product development, planning, production and quality team to root-cause and resolve cross function issues and continuously improve operations. Idóneo candidate is someone with proven problems-solving skills and very good understanding of sales, product development, supply chain and production operations.
Product Development
Representative must have strong project management skills and proven ability to build strong cross-functional skills.
Key Requirements:
- BS in Engineering or Business Management
- Four to eight years of relevant work experience, including merchandising, product development, customer service, project management
- Fluent English
- Experience in consumer products desirable
- Work with merchandising managers, product development, material planners, production to align plan for new product introduction, product liquidations and key product changes
- Serve as the key merchandising resources for arbitrating product quality issues and working with sourcing, merchandising and planning to resolve in timely manner
- Proactively identify and resolve key operational issues/conflicts
- Attend weekly merchandising, product development and planning meeting to stay abreast of initiatives; visit Paramus on regular basis as needed
