Project Manager – Retail / Sterling OMS

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Retail and hands-on experience working with Sterling OMS (Order Management System) to lead complex technology and omni-fulfillment initiatives.

Sterling OMS experience is a critical requirement for this position. Candidates should have a solid understanding of its functions within an omni-fulfillment retail environment , as well as experience working with fulfillment, shipping, logistics, and cross-functional technology teams.

The adecuado candidate combines strong Project Management capabilities with retail domain knowledge and the ability to communicate effectively with developers, architects, QA, data analysts, product managers, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead complex projects throughout the complete lifecycle, from ideation and planning through pilot, prototype, implementation, and operationalization.
- Manage project roadmaps, priorities, timelines, resources, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Facilitate project planning, brainstorming sessions, and prioritization of projects and features.
- Partner with stakeholders to develop workflows, project plans, proof of concepts, operating procedures, and training materials.
- Break down large and complex initiatives into manageable deliverables and functional requirements.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful and timely project delivery.




- Build strong partnerships with developers, architects, QA, data analysts, product managers, and business stakeholders.
- Support the evaluation and adoption of new retail processes and technologies.
- Coordinate initiatives involving order management, fulfillment, shipping, and logistics.
- Be available for occasional travel to client headquarters when required.

Must-Have Requirements

- Currently residing in Mexico. This is a mandatory requirement.
- 5+ years of Project Management experience within the Retail industry.
- Strong experience with Sterling OMS and its functions in an omni-fulfillment environment – REQUIRED.
- Strong understanding of retail fulfillment processes .
- Experience with shipping methods and logistics .
- Agile experience.
- High-level understanding of microservices architectures .
- Experience managing complex projects and cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Strong English communication skills , both written and verbal.
- Ability to work ET hours .
- Innovative, entrepreneurial, and forward-thinking mindset.

- Rithum – Marketplace / Dropship Integrator.
- Shipium – Parcel Management Solution.
