QA Automation Engineer — Senior (Decu)

The Role

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer on the AI Platform team, you will design and build the test automation that covers our AI/ML platform services. You will work with engineers across the platform to validate ML infrastructure, model pipelines, and customer-facing APIs, and you will raise the quality bar for how the team ships.

Responsibilities

- Design and implement the automation strategy for AI/ML platform services, covering functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Build and maintain automated test and benchmark suites for platform services, models, and ML pipelines.
- Validate deployed models and ML pipelines end to end, including data quality, model outputs, and pipeline reliability.
- Automate testing for APIs that power front-end applications and for large-scale data processing made available to clients.
- Build checks for secure data pipelines, including data integrity across services and environments.
- Partner with product and engineering to define acceptance criteria and test new features for the Customer Experience space.
- Integrate tests into CI/CD so quality gates run on every change to platform services.
- Identify process improvements: expanding automation coverage, reducing manual testing, and making failures easier to diagnose.

Minimum Qualifications




- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of QA automation in production environments, with strong programming experience in Python, Java, or Scala.
- Demonstrated experience designing and maintaining automated test frameworks for microservices.
- Demonstrated experience testing services deployed on Kubernetes (K8s).
- Experience testing distributed systems such as Spark, Kafka, or similar data pipelines.
- Demonstrated experience with relational databases including Postgres, used to validate data and test results.
- Demonstrated experience with code quality best practices and testing architectures on large codebases.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience testing ML model serving platforms such as TensorFlow Serving, TensorRT, Triton, or KServe.
- Experience with data pipeline and workflow tools such as Airflow or Kubeflow.
- Knowledge of Django or Spring and how to test applications built on them.
- Experience with NoSQL databases including ElasticSearch.
- Experience with API testing tools and contract testing.
- Experience with performance, load, or reliability testing for production services.
