Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect – Commercial & Consumer to translate Enterprise Architecture principles and strategic guidelines into actionable, implementation-ready logical and physical designs.

This role will focus on commercial and consumer domains, with a strong emphasis on the Salesforce ecosystem and its integration with core enterprise systems, particularly ERP platforms such as SAP.

The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise in Salesforce architecture, enterprise integration, cloud infrastructure, and solution design with the ability to collaborate across business, development, infrastructure, and security teams. This professional will ensure that solutions align with enterprise standards, architectural principles, security requirements, and non-functional requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Design logical and physical architectures aligned with Enterprise Architecture principles, covering applications, integrations, infrastructure, networks, containers, and deployment models.
- Lead solution design decisions for commercial platforms, including Salesforce and internally developed applications, defining data models, security frameworks, and integration approaches.
- Design and document end-to-end solutions supporting sales, customer service, consumer engagement, order-to-cash processes, trade marketing, and master data systems.
- Define and justify architectural decisions based on established enterprise principles, standards, and reference architectures.
- Evaluate solution alternatives considering cost, operational efficiency, scalability, sustainability, complexity, and risk, clearly documenting trade-offs.
- Produce architectural deliverables, including logical and physical designs, Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), and compliance documentation.




- Incorporate security and non-functional requirements into solution designs, including Identity and Access Management (IAM), encryption, resilience, scalability, and personal data privacy.
- Define integration patterns using APIs, events, messaging queues, and synchronous and asynchronous communication.
- Ensure appropriate integration between Salesforce, CRM platforms, SAP/ERP systems, and other enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, infrastructure teams, security specialists, and other architects to ensure technical consistency and alignment.
- Document architectural models and decisions clearly, facilitate knowledge transfer, and support implementation handoffs.
- Contribute to Enterprise Architecture repositories and portfolio management practices.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrable experience.
- 6+ years of experience in solution architecture, technical design, systems integration, and physical architecture.
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Solution Architect or Technical Lead, with hands-on involvement in end-to-end implementations beyond configuration activities.
- Strong experience designing solutions for commercial and consumer domains, including CRM platforms, custom applications, and ERP integrations, preferably with SAP.
- Demonstrated expertise in logical and physical solution design, cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and deployment architectures.
- Strong knowledge of integration patterns, APIs, event-driven architectures, messaging queues, and synchronous/asynchronous integrations.
- Experience evaluating architectural alternatives and making informed decisions based on cost, risk, complexity, and non-functional requirements.
- Experience working with business and technology stakeholders across multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish.

Technical Skills

- Salesforce Architecture: Data models, security, governor limits, integration patterns, platform extensions, and enterprise implementations.
- Enterprise Architecture:



ArchiMate modeling and familiarity with TOGAF principles and frameworks.
- Solution Design: Logical and physical architecture, application dependencies, integration flows, and deployment design.
- Cloud & Infrastructure: Cloud platforms, networking, containers, security controls, and deployment practices.
- Data Modeling: Data abstraction and information entities, including customers, products, promotions, and organizational hierarchies.
- Integration Architecture: API-led connectivity, event-driven integration, messaging, and synchronous/asynchronous communication.
- Architecture Tools: Archi, Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, and Draw.io.
- Enterprise Architecture Management: Portfolio management and EA repositories, preferably SAP LeanIX.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), retail, or manufacturing industries.
- Familiarity with commercial and consumer platforms such as Trade Promotion Management (TPM), loyalty programs, e-commerce, and Direct Store Delivery (DSD).
- Certifications in TOGAF, ArchiMate, SAFe, or Salesforce Architecture (Application Architect or System Architect).
- Knowledge of BIZBOK and business capability modeling.
- Experience with monitoring, reliability engineering, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
