Academic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in public accounting.

Additional certifications (e.g., Diploma in Taxation, International Financial Reporting Standards – IFRS, or US GAAP) preferred.

Technical Knowledge:

-Accounting:

-Local standards (NIF, SAT) and, where applicable, international standards (IFRS, US GAAP nice to have).

-Accounting and tax reconciliations.

-Accounting closings and preparation of financial statements from a tax notes' perspective

Taxation:

-Income Tax Law (local and federal), VAT, IEPS, and local contributions

-Annual and provisional returns and referenced payments.

-Transfer pricing (basics).





-Relationship with external auditors and tax authorities.

-Deferred taxes for calculation

Systems:

-Advanced Excel skills

-Use of ERP (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or similar) to consult information

Required Experience:

-Between 4 and 7 years in tax or accounting areas.

-Experience calculating and filing federal and local taxes.

-Handling tax audits (internal and external).

-Participation in tax/accounting automation or digitalization projects (nice to have)

-Financial Services experience

-Written English (basic to intermediate)
