Support and develop test-area capabilities to maintain production continuity, resolve tester failures, and improve equipment performance through data analysis and root-cause problem-solving.
Our Team
You will join the OSCO Test Engineering team in Guadalajara, working closely with Production and other cross-functional departments to resolve tester failures, maintain line continuity, and ensure the effective operation of the test area.
What You Will Do
- Report daily activities and progress to the direct supervisor.
- Support basic software development and hardware integration activities.
- Collaborate with Production and other departments to identify and resolve tester failures.
- Perform statistical data analysis using Pareto charts, box plots, Cpk, and pivot tables.
- Prepare quotations, manage purchases, and follow up on procurement requests.
- Provide timely technical support to help keep production lines running.
- Apply root-cause analysis tools to investigate failures and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure failure analyses are addressed correctly and the test area operates reliably.
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Optoelectronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Intermediate English proficiency, approximately 60%.
- Experience analysing production and test data.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and respond effectively to production priorities.

- Hands-on experience supporting manufacturing test equipment or production lines.
- Knowledge of software development and hardware integration.
- Experience with statistical analysis, failure analysis, and structured problem-solving tools.
- Experience coordinating technical purchases and following up with suppliers or internal teams.
