Has knowledge in different welding techniques (spot, tig, mig, argon). Works from production plans given by the supervisor. Assures that the equipment and machine meet the conditions before starting the operation. Produces the first assembly and submits it for revision and approval from the supervisor in order to continue the production process, including polishing. Meets quality standards, inspection and delivering times.
Checks and inspects the quality of incoming parts to detect possible defects and reject them if applicable. Can detect damages of machine but does not repair it. Is responsible for meeting cleaning and 5´s requirements for the whole area including machines. Level 2 is capable of welding using the simpler techniques (tig, mig) Level 3 is capable of welding using more complex techniques and also uses the robot.
Level : Sets up, checks, calibrates and can make adjustments in the robot. Knows all the necessary tools required for the operation. Knows all welding techniques. Interprets guidelines and designs for the development of each piece. Also functions as the team leader and might require some robot experience. May require additional certification/education/training at this level
