STELLANTIS Mexico (Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Lancia, Maserati, Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge and RAM, Peugeot), a global automotive company, is looking for you talent as a WIRING SYSTEMS ENGINEER.

The position will be responsible for the design, development, validation, and release of automotive electrical systems and wire harness schematics, ensuring compliance with Stellantis electrical specifications throughout the vehicle lifecycle. The role will also contribute to electrical architecture development, CAN network layouts, wire and fuse selection, component analysis, and design optimization, collaborating with engineering teams, suppliers, and manufacturing facilities.

Main Responsibilities

- Manage wire harness schematic design, development, and engineering changes throughout the vehicle lifecycle.
- Define wire harness architecture and CAN network layouts in accordance with Stellantis specifications.
- Determine wire sizing, specifications, and fuse ratings based on vehicle electrical requirements.
- Identify and implement design optimization and cost-reduction initiatives (VAVE / VO).
- Support wire harness development, troubleshooting,



and problem resolution at test facilities and manufacturing sites.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably in product development.
- Experience in automotive wiring design, wire harness development, and release.
- Experience developing and executing DFMEA & DVP&R;
- Expertise in engineering change management, vehicle specifications, and Bill of Materials (BOM) analysis.
- Advanced English proficiency, with the ability to communicate technical information and collaborate with integral teams.
