Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java and Spring Framework.
• Design and build robust REST APIs and backend services.
• Build and deploy software systems using AWS cloud technologies.
• Work with streaming technologies such as Kafka and distributed architectures.
• Deploy and manage applications using Kubernetes.
• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and business stakeholders to design and implement robust technical solutions.
• Identify performance issues and optimize solutions across large-scale distributed systems.
• Maintain a high bar for code quality, scalability, reliability,
and maintainability.
• Work with source version control systems such as GitLab and GitHub.
• Support application monitoring and observability using industry-standard tools such as New Relic, SCOM, or similar.
• Apply security protocols, standards, and engineering best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Prioritize and simplify technical solutions with a strong focus on delivering results.
Requirements
• 5+ years of professional application development experience. Overall Engineer Level III (5 to 7 years’ experience).
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Framework.
• Experience designing and building REST APIs.
• Experience building and deploying software systems using AWS.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes.
• Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
