We are seeking an experienced tax professional to lead Mexican income tax compliance, planning, audit readiness, and tax authority interactions.
This role will support maquiladora operations under the IMMEX program and work closely with Finance, Legal, Corporate Tax, external advisors, and auditors. The idóneo candidate combines strong technical knowledge with excellent documentation, organization, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead Mexican income tax compliance for local legal entities.
- Ensure compliance with the Mexican Income Tax Law, IMMEX requirements, Maquiladora Safe Harbor, APA provisions, and transfer pricing obligations.
- Coordinate annual and provisional ISR calculations, tax returns, supporting schedules, and related documentation.
- Monitor tax legislation and identify potential risks, business impacts, and mitigation strategies.
- Serve as a key point of contact for SAT audits, information requests,



official notices, and tax authority inquiries.
- Coordinate responses with Finance, Legal, Corporate Tax, external advisors, and auditors.
- Maintain complete, organized, and audit-ready tax files and working papers.
- Ensure tax positions, calculations, and supporting evidence are properly documented and traceable.
- Support tax planning initiatives involving IMMEX benefits, business changes, tax incentives, and cash tax optimization.
- Review tax accounting impacts, including deferred tax positions under Mexican and IFRS/US GAAP frameworks.
- Identify opportunities to improve tax processes, documentation controls, and compliance efficiency.
- Prepare clear reports, recommendations, and updates for Finance and tax leadership.
