Your Role
- Serves as a hands-on Marketing Technology engineer responsible for Salesforce Marketing Cloud campaign automation, customer journeys, audience activation, triggered communications, direct-mail triggers, and integration with CDP data products.
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience is mandatory and must be present before onboarding; this is not a learn-on-the-job platform role. Campaign Engineers operate between CDP Engineering and Campaign Operations and therefore require strong SQL, practical Snowflake knowledge, and a technical troubleshooting mindset. AI curiosity is required for automation, content operations, testing, and support improvements.
- Design,



configure, test, deploy, and support customer journeys in Journey Builder.
- Build and maintain Automation Studio workflows, schedules, imports, extracts, queries, and file-transfer activities.
- Develop and optimize SQL for segmentation, eligibility, suppression, personalization, and audience preparation.
- Manage Data Extensions, Contact Builder relationships, subscriber/contact data, and campaign data structures.
- Support Email Studio and Query Studio activities used by campaign execution teams.
- Translate marketing requirements into scalable technical designs and implementation tasks.
- Validate audience counts, qualification logic, exclusions, consent-related requirements, and downstream activation.
- Partner with CDP engineers to define data requirements, onboard new audience attributes, and troubleshoot upstream issues.
