The Social Media and Content Officer plays a key role in shaping Girls Not Brides’ digital presence through social media, creative content, and audience engagement. The role is responsible for developing and delivering social media approaches, creating engaging visual and multimedia content and translating organisational priorities, stories, and evidence into accessible, audience-focused communications.
The role will act as a key source of creative and visual insight, developing high-quality content including graphics, video, photography and digital assets, while supporting the consistent application of the Girls Not Brides brand across communications materials, influencing moments, projects and initiatives. The postholder will help bring organisational priorities, stories, and evidence to life through creative and accessible communications, ensuring content is tailored for different digital audiences and channels.

You understand the importance of accessible, inclusive and ethical communications and enjoy collaborating with colleagues to bring stories to life across multimedia and social media channels.
Job location
Working as a general team, all Girls Not Brides’ team members may from time to time be expected to work outside normal working hours (e.g., early morning or early evening) this is not a regular occurrence and is only to accommodate collaboration of teams across different time zones. This role may require some international travel, as necessary.
