Mission

Maintain cost accounting procedures and support product costing and inventory valuation across North American operations, providing accurate financial analysis to support decision-making by Plant Leadership and SBU teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform cost accounting month-end close activities, including inventory reconciliations and periodic inventory audits.
- Monitor absorption rates for inventory valuation and analyze standard versus actual manufacturing costs.
- Prepare monthly raw material variance analyses, including purchase price variances and inflation impacts against forecasts.
- Review Bills of Materials (BOM), correct costing errors, and reconcile variations with the Program Management team.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Logistics, Quality,



and Procurement to improve processes and controls related to manufacturing costs and inventory valuation.
- Support monthly and quarterly forecasts, the Annual Operating Plan, and ad hoc financial analyses requested by Plant Leadership.
- Address internal and external audit requirements related to cost accounting and inventories.
- Maintain PPC analysis and reconcile sales information across Accounts Receivable, Commercial, and General Ledger teams, including provisions and surcharges.
- Validate savings initiatives and improvement ideas through financial analysis.

Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Engineering with an administrative focus.
- 2+ years of experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with standard costing, Bills of Materials, inventory control, financial analysis, and manufacturing cost KPIs.
- Knowledge of general accounting, cost accounting, IFRS, and inventory management.
- Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of Mfg/Pro and Oracle.
- Advanced English.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to collaborate across functions, communicate financial insights, and deliver results with a customer-focused approach.
