The work centers on judgment. As AI takes over more transactional accounting, the people who review the output, question it, and own the result matter more than ever. MAVI professionals work alongside US finance leaders, using AI tools to do more and applying the judgment to catch what those tools get wrong. At one client, an AR dashboard now used across the organization was built almost entirely by MAVI talent.

About the role

We’re looking for a strong FP&A; professional who enjoys working across different businesses, solving different problems, and partnering directly with founders and CFOs.

In this role, you’ll support multiple high-growth US companies and help them improve forecasting, modeling, cash planning, management reporting, and strategic decision-making.

This is especially suited to someone who enjoys variety, can switch contexts quickly, and is comfortable building trusted relationships with multiple stakeholders.

What you’ll own

- Build and maintain financial models, budgets, and rolling forecasts across multiple companies
- Own or support cash-flow forecasting, working-capital analysis, and scenario planning




- Review monthly performance and explain the key drivers behind variances
- Build management reporting packages, KPI dashboards, and decision-ready analysis
- Work directly with founders, CFOs, and senior business leaders
- Translate different business models into financial assumptions and forecasts
- Manage priorities across multiple companies at the same time
- Help clients improve planning, reporting, and finance processes
- Support strategic decisions around growth, hiring, pricing, investment, and cash management
- Bring structure and clarity to businesses that may still be building out their finance function

Must-haves

- 5+ years of finance experience, with meaningful FP&A; or strategic finance exposure
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling skills
- True multi-client, portfolio, advisory, or consulting exposure
- Experience working across multiple companies or business units at the same time
- Strong cash-flow and working-capital understanding
- Comfortable working directly with founders, CFOs, or senior leaders
- Strong communication and stakeholder management
- Excellent written and spoken English

Nice to have

- Fractional CFO, outsourced CFO, finance advisory, or consulting background
- Experience with startups, SMBs, or high-growth companies
- SaaS, DTC/eCommerce, CPG, retail, consumer, or marketplace exposure
- Experience building models from scratch
- Process improvement, automation, or finance transformation experience
- Board, investor, or fundraising support experience
