About the role

This is a specialist role supporting Mexico ERP implementation as we migrate off SAP and implement Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Reporting to the Finance Lead for ERP Transformation, you will lead the order-to-cash (O2C) and trade promotion management (TPM) workstream, owning the design and delivery of these processes in the new system and the way trade spend flows through to accurate financial results.

For a consumer goods business, trade spend is one of the largest items on the P&L;, so this role carries real weight. You will make sure promotions, deductions, claims are designed to settle cleanly and report accurately, that the order-to-cash cycle from customer master data through to cash application is fit for purpose and well controlled, and that the TPM solution and the wider commercial teams connect properly to Dynamics 365. You will also work closely with the Finance Director & Controller, the finance group transformation team at corporate headquarters, commercial finance, and external implementation consultants.

This is a hands-on delivery and leadership role for someone who knows O2C and trade promotion from the inside.

Your responsibilities:





- Lead the O2C and Trade Promotion/Sales Finance workstream of the SAP-to-Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation, owning design, build, test, data migration, cutover and hypercare for these areas.
- Design the end-to-end order-to-cash process in the new system, spanning customer master data, pricing and terms, order management, billing and invoicing, accounts receivable, credit and collections, and cash application.
- Design how trade and marketing spend is planned, executed, accrued and settled, ensuring promotions, deductions and claims are matched to the right events and post to the correct accounts rather than a single catch-all trade spend account.
- Lead the integration between the trade promotion management solution and Dynamics 365 so that trade deals flow through to pricing, billing and settlement, and deductions clear against the right promotional liabilities in a closed loop.
- Establish a controlled deduction and dispute management process covering the receipt, validation, reconciliation and resolution of retailer claims, with the documentation and audit trail needed to recover invalid deductions.
- Ensure trade accruals and the gross-to-net bridge are designed to give the business clear and accurate visibility of net revenue and promotion effectiveness.
- Partner with commercial finance, sales operations and controller to align the design with how the business plans and reviews trade investment.
- Coordinate with the group finance transformation team to ensure consistency with the global template and international reporting.




- Manage external implementation consultants and draw on business-as-usual colleagues for expert insight, and support testing, user acceptance testing, cutover and post go-live stabilization.
- Designing an order-to-cash and trade spend model that settles cleanly and reports accurately, while protecting cash and margin through cutover, in a fast-paced environment where ambiguity exists.

The experience we are looking for:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Engineering or related.
- Solid experience across order-to-cash and sales finance/trade promotion management, ideally within a consumer goods or similar environment.
- Deep, hands-on knowledge of trade spend, deductions and claims, including accruals, settlement and the gross-to-net bridge.
- Proven experience contributing to or leading an ERP implementation, including the integration of a trade promotion management solution.
- Strong understanding of accounts receivable, credit and collections, and revenue recognition.
- Strong Excel skills, with Power BI an advantage.
- Advanced English skills to communicate with general stakeholders.
