Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Maintaining stability and performance of the B2B system and all its components.
- Actively manage the performance of the EDI Sterling environment, including capacity planning and tuning.
- Support B2B communication and protocols including SFTP, AS2, and OFTP2.
- Responsible for creating best practices for Sterling B2B Integrator with supporting documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Participate in remediation of EDI Sterling B2B incidents and events. Provide 24 x 7 on-call rotational support including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Work closely with other teams to remediate all EDI B2B issues, i.e. (server, network, database, etc.)
- As a member of the EDI team you will work on prioritized incidents, enhancements, projects, code deployments, application upgrades, and performance testing support.
- Will participate in the IT Change Management process to schedule and support EDI related changes.
- Provide support for new projects affecting the EDI Sterling B2B Integrator landscape.




- Engage and interface directly with IBM as required for product support/questions.
- Performs related duties as assigned.

Requirements and Preferred Skills

- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience directly related and progressively responsible experience in EDI Technical Administration and Operations support.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience with IBM Sterling software suite: B2B Integrator (Maps, BPML, Services/Adapters, Administration, Tuning, Troubleshooting)
- 3+ years of experience with Sterling B2B Integrator mapping, trading partner, message and communication profile configuration.
- Strong Data Exchange/ EDI background required, supporting Enterprise level environment.
- Working knowledge of EDI Development/ Configuration/solutions evaluation/ Validation and deployment.
- Working knowledge of file transfer protocols including HTTPs, SFTP, AS2, OFTP2.
- Experience and working knowledge of Linux Operating Systems and commands.
- Ability to document standard operating procedures and best practice to support environment of continuous improvement.




- Solid understanding of business requirements and ability to apply supporting solutions.
- Strong self-starter and ability to provide training and support.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Strong organizational and prioritizing skills.
- Good analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills to evaluate business problems and apply technology knowledge to identify appropriate solutions.
- Good interpersonal skills and strong supportive team player required.
- Excellent discovery and active listening skills. Good relationship building skills.
- Experienced and Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and Outlook.
