The IT Support Engineer will manage the daily technical operations, including providing technical assistance, resolving user-reported issues, conducting troubleshooting, and maintaining IT systems. maintenance and testing to applications are managed anddelivered through agile methodologies with teams working in squads.Tracking outstanding issues and working with the appropriate partiesto achieve resolution.Liaising with internal, external stakeholders and 3rd party vendorsIdentifying process improvement opportunities and automating manualtasks.Provide Support of Liquidity providers, pricing and ordinate and provide support to Vendor or 3rd party applicationsWork with network team on SSL config/licensing and CertificaterenewalsWork closely with UNIX/Database/Network/MarketData/Infrastructure/Firewall teams during outages/Code Change.Participate in bank wide DR/BCP/Isolation tests, Site Switches andwork with other PS teams on DR remediation.Support infrastructure changes perform business checkouts, releases,Documenting issues and new processes in ConfluenceWorking on weekends and providing on-call support on a rota basisWork on shift basis if required during different time zones.Education:Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experienceExperience required:6+ years of experience in a Production Support role.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and whilst under pressure.Good communication skills, with the ability to communicate with bothexternal and internal stake holders.Good understanding of the FX product scope and terminologiesExperience supporting a low latency platformSkills Required:Proficiency in Operating systems knowledge (Windows, Unix, Linux)Strong scripting skills (Shell Scripting, Python)Good Knowledge of monitoring/scheduling tools such as Control M, CA,Dynatrace.Databases and writing SQL queries Industry
