The Procurement team identifies researches and evaluates suppliers that meet the organization's standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply. Recognizes and evaluate sales, promotional campaigns, and other opportunities to secure reduced prices. Assesses supplier's products to ensure that they comply with specifications and meet the organization's quality standards.
**Job Title: Commodity Buyer**
**This role in summary**:
**Job mission: Buyer shall be the main interface between Whirlpool and Supply Base for the respective commodity. Buyer is expected to manage the total performance of his/her commodity. Buyer is responsible to deliver financial results for the commodity, drive sourcing process and lead supplier selection for current and future businesses.



Buyers are also expected to support cross functional stakeholders to achieve operational excellence and product leadership.**

Supplier selection (on time, on cost, with quality)**
- ** Data analytics (total cost based approach).**
- ** Global benchmark at sub-commodity level.**
- ** Manage Sourcing Pipeline globally**
- ** Bundled sourcing packages to generate scale and drive efficiencies**

Contract Management**
- ** Manage Expiring Contracts**
- ** Support Commodity Manager in new contract**

**Minimum Requirements**:
**Bachelor Degree in economic or industrial fields**
**1years+ working experience in procurement (home appliance and Automotive is a plus)**
**Experience with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets is required**
