**_ Looking for a rewarding Year 6 role where you can make a real impact during a crucial stage of pupils' education?_**
Long Term Futures are working alongside a friendly, community-focused primary school in Rubery, Birmingham, who are looking to appoint a confident and experienced Year 6 Teacher for the Spring Term from January 2026. This is a full-time role with a strong focus on end-of-Key-Stage preparation, with scope for extension depending on school requirements.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Deliver engaging, well-paced lessons tailored to Year 6 pupils
- Support pupils through SATs preparation using targeted teaching and intervention strategies
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate assessment and tracking records
- Establish a calm, structured classroom with clear expectations
- Work closely with teaching assistants and KS2/phase leaders
- Communicate effectively with parents and contribute to assessment meetings




- Adapt planning to support a range of abilities, including pupils with SEN

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with induction completed
- Strong KS2 experience, ideally within Year 6 or upper KS2
- Confident behaviour management with a consistent teaching approach
- Experience preparing pupils for SATs
