General Purpose of Job:
The Business Analyst/Product Owner will be responsible for testing and support of multiple software platforms. This role will assist in researching, gathering and documenting requirements as well as collaborating to frame out and translate these requirements into meaningful user experiences and strategies. This position will serve as a resource for product managers, product specialists and developers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understanding basic business processes and Agile principles
- Assisting in gathering, documenting and refining business requirements
- Assisting in creating and refining user stories




- Participating in team standups, planning sessions, retrospectives and demos
- Performing testing and troubleshooting of solutions
- Working with developers to ensure that deadlines are met and quality is excellent
- Developing technical documentation, release notes, test cases and process flows
- Working with teams to ensure business needs are met in system implementations
- Working with product managers or product specialists to configure client sites
- Managing support tickets
- Providing basic support to customers
- Assisting product specialists as appropriate
- Contributing to change management activities and process improvements
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to work independently with mínimal direction
- Strong communication, documentation and writing skills
- Basic knowledge of databases, process mapping and requirements gathering
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office software
- Proficiency in MS Project and MS Visio preferred
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Experience with business process modeling
