**Duties**
- Maintain the general ledger accounting system, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Assist in regulatory reporting, working directly with our CPA firm.
- Support the budgeting process by providing insights and analysis on financial performance.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial statements.
- Prepare financial reports for management, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
- Ensure adherence to GAAP standards in all financial reporting activities.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff as needed.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- NetSuite experience required
- Intercompany transaction experience preferred
- Proven experience in public accounting or a similar role within a corporate finance environment.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Proficiency in accounts receivable management and general ledger accounting practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
