In this position...
Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance principles
Interpret data from inspection equipment and recommend responses
Ensure gauge calibrations; certification; and repeatability and reproducibility
Verify tolerance/engineering specifications
Work with Layout Inspectors and Data collectors for accurate Scan box, scanning programs and handheld device measurements to ensure data integrity
Review dimensional inspection reports (Scan box, laser gauge, etc.) for accuracy and compliance.
Review CAD models and prints to understand part geometry and nominal environment.




Complete implementation and validation of corrective actions
Develop dimensional/product/process control plans
Define and conduct machine process capability analysis
Lead variability reduction and lean manufacturing initiatives and best practices,
Control the critical inputs to the production process. Including dimensional and surface Quality from stamping.
Support of daily production & maintenance, working closely with production team to drive all engineering actions across the machining/assembly line
Responsible for tool & die Maintenance & performance.
Knowledge of and ability to execute measurement systems analysis & variable data analysis
Supervise the activities of the dimensional control group within closures Manufacturing
Co-lead QCM within sub assembly lines
Build Team Leader and Team Member capability
Create a conducive work environment for the team(s) to complete their assigned responsibilities / tasks
