What will your role be?

Key Responsibilities

- Track shipments through final delivery, report deviations and support route planning.
- Validate shipping and payment documentation, and keep shipment logs and project files up to date.
- Provide shipment status updates to customers, internal departments and international teams.
- Vet and evaluate suppliers, and take part in negotiations.
- Prepare freight quotes, cost analyses and reports, and monitor global events that may disrupt the supply chain.
- Guide the Logistics Assistant and interns, and propose process improvements.

Education

- Bachelor's degree in International Trade, International Business, Logistics Engineering or a related field.
- Experience and Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in international logistics at trucking companies, customs brokerage firms or foreign trade departments.
- Proven experience as Traffic Assistant, Shipment Tracking Specialist, Logistics Executive,



Foreign Trade Assistant or Shipping Coordinator.
- Internships or social service in international trade are a plus.
- Bilingual English (spoken and written) to communicate with international suppliers and carriers, read trade documents and write emails.

Preferred

- Basic Mandarin Chinese.
- Valid passport and U.S. visa.
- Experience with suppliers in Asia.
- Experience with Monday.com or similar project management tools.

Key Knowledge

- Incoterms and their practical application.
- Shipping, customs and payment documentation.
- International ocean, ground and air freight coordination.
- Cost analysis and quote interpretation.
- Office 365, advanced Excel required.
- Teams, WhatsApp and WeChat.
- Research and information management.
