About the Role

We are looking for a Business Applications Analyst to join the team building and evolving our Claims platform — a key system supporting the end-to-end customer journey for claims agents and operations. This role sits at the intersection of business and technology, gathering and documenting requirements, analyzing business processes, and validating software deliverables as IT develops the platform in close partnership with the business.

What You'll Do

? Interact with business partners and IT staff to gather and document requirements and testing needs for the Claims platform.

? Analyze business processes related to the claims agent and customer journey experience, and translate them into software deliverables.

? Develop and execute test scripts against defined requirements.

? Draft and review documentation in compliance with the FedEx General Development Process.

? Develop and maintain a business model reflecting current processes and business rules.

? Identify impacted systems and dependencies when resolving business issues.

? Independently sort and recommend direction on low- to medium-complexity business issues, escalating more complex items as needed.





? Collaborate with the team in an Agile environment, using tools such as Jira and the Pega framework as applicable to the platform.

What We're Looking For

? Associate's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

? 2 years of experience in the field/industry; 1 year of FedEx experience preferred.

? Strong analytical, problem-solving, judgment/decision-making, and interpersonal skills.

? Solid influencing and persuasion skills to work effectively across business and technology teams.

? Project administration experience.

Nice to Have

? Experience with Jira or similar Agile project/issue tracking tools.

? Familiarity with the Pega framework.

? Prior exposure to claims, customer journey, or operations technology platforms.
